The book selections at Literati Book Fairs are intentionally designed to drive your school’s sales and introduce young readers to exciting new stories—including books they may not have found otherwise.
Our curation team reads widely to find compelling, well-crafted stories that will resonate with your students. Then we use data to examine sales trends and ensure the right amount of each title arrives at your fair.
This unique blend of data science and human insight has helped us create a more engaging book fair experience that inspires kids to become lifelong readers.
How Data Enhances Book Curation
Your book fair won’t come with equal numbers of every title. That’s because our data team has gathered insights from past and current fairs, compared them with your school’s enrollment and grade levels, and specified quantities for each book based on our selling forecast for your school.
These data projections help us determine how many of each book to send your way, as we want you to be well-stocked with titles that have proven especially popular. When you receive lower quantities of a given book, it's because our data has shown less demand for it.
Finding Books for Every Reader
Our curators are experts in children’s literature. They read a lot of books, looking for an exciting mix of captivating ideas, beautiful illustrations, impactful themes, and relatable characters. Sometimes these are award-winning bestsellers—and sometimes they’re hidden gems from smaller publishers.
We select top-notch titles from over 150 publishers we believe will delight kids and broaden their horizons, helping them learn that great stories can come from anywhere.
Every student ought to experience the thrill of discovery, which is why we focus on variety and access. Our book selection spans every genre and reading level and includes titles at affordable prices.
Our school fairs keep the focus on reading and writing (no toys or tchotchkes here!), Shoppers can find a wide range of STEM kits and educational games by visiting your online fair starting four weeks before your in-person fair, or find favorite titles like Dog Man and Baby-Sitters Club, which are available online only.
